Presented by FNB Franchising in cooperation with Franchising Plus

This year’s Franchise Leadership Summit extended over two days and notched up a record number of attendees. Delegates enjoyed presentations by top class speakers drawn from the areas of franchising, banking and other service providers. A number of panel discussions rounded out the programme and networking opportunities added additional value.

Setting the scene

Spurred on by the success of last year’s inaugural Summit, FNB Franchising and Franchising Plus again joined forces and resolved to make this year’s event even better. In this, they succeeded. While the first day’s emphasis was on insights into the various facets of franchising with emphasis on issues of concern to franchisors, the second day addressed a wide range of topics of interest to franchisors and franchisees alike.

In his welcoming address, event MC Peter Nodor made reference to the quality of the speakers and the presence of so many of the franchise sector’s movers and shakers in the audience. He said, “This event has the potential to shape the future of franchising in South Africa. If it doesn’t start to happen here, it won’t happen at all. FNB Franchising and Franchising Plus deserve a round of applause for making it happen.”

At the end of the summit, delegates left enriched by a host of newfound insights that will help them in no small measure to drive their franchises forward with renewed vigour.
